Pick-up to the meeting place outside the central station for a visit to Naples of approximately 2 hours; first stop at the Duomo to admire inside the Baroque-style Treasure Chapel and the Basilica of Santa Restituta, the first paleochristian basilica of the 4th century AD. Then we continue passing through the Piazza Municipio where the imposing fortress of the house of Anjou, the Castel Nuovo, is erected to arrive in the Posillipo area with a stop on the terrace of the church of S.Antonio from where you can enjoy the best view of the city and the gulf. We return by minibus to the city center in the Plaza del Plebiscito where it is possible to see from the outside the Royal Palace, the splendid neoclassical church of San Francisco de Paola, the Umberto I gallery and the San Carlo theater. Transfer to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological excavations. You will visit the most interesting places in the city such as the Forum, the Thermal Baths, the Casa de los Vetti and the Lupanar buried by ash and lava during the volcanic eruption of 79 AD. At the end of the two-hour visit there will be a short break for lunch with pizza & drink. Next, we will go to the Sorrento Peninsula. You can see along the medieval castle that gives the town of Castellammare its name, small charming beaches of Vico Equense and Seiano and the Mediterranean vegetation of these places, which give the landscape the bright colors of lemons and oranges. We will stop at the viewpoint of Meta di Sorrento to admire the sea view of the bay that seems to reach the island of Capri. Stop in Sorrento for a short visit (one hour). The guide will explain the most famous places in the city walking through the streets full of artisan shops until you reach the Villa Comunale, one of the places with the best views in Sorrento, where you can admire the beauty of the bay to Punta Campanella and take photos of the beautiful scenery. Return to Naples station around 17:15.
